Relaxing to the sea breeze and sounds of the waves, sinking our souls to the view of the 3 layers of what makes earth.

I hope it doesn't pour.

2010

A blink of an eye and it's already mid-March.

There's so much to do but so little time.
With so much agenda on my list, I wonder which to set my focus on.

By right the priority should be on the real world. The job. Which of course is less exciting.
The side business is kicking start well and am glad it's running well and hope it runs well for at least a year before I get fickle and disembark.
The exciting unreal world suddenly open up it's doors in my face and is luring me to the light. Why didn't it come much much earlier when I still had the energy to run about day and night.

The son needs more discipline and obedience training as he's being very difficult these days like the rebellious teenager. I feel my parents. And am deeply sorry for being such a pain back then.
The new addition is such a darling and can't wait till Bullet gets bigger and tougher.

Oh well .. at least I feel "useful" in 2010, rather than looking back at the end of the year and realized I've been day dreaming all 365 days.

Colorful Pink Room has kicked started well, and after 1 month, it has established it's foothold in the e-business world quite well. The name though not fancy actually has a significant personal meaning to me.


Pre-ordering for stocking and accessories, we're already into Batch 6. The quality has proven itself and am so amazed by the quality especially for the accessories. Legs can be so much more sexier when it's jazzed up. Plus all those bling you can have on your neckline minus the weight.

Am bored.

Work seems to be major slow mo for me. I understand now why people say they need "a change of environment" after a couple of years into their existing jobs. I've been in mine for over 5 freakin' years and it's also my very first. Talk about excitement .. hah! But as my former boss told me, I'm just too coward to step out from my comfort zone.

After CNY, I'm still adapting back and stepping up with my new role. It doesn't really help when people do not respond immediately. It just kills the vibe.

I miss Penang. Particularly the food. Despite being there for 5 days, I've spent 80% of the time eating. I can't remember when was the last time I spent this much time around the family. It's like literally day in and out with them. The immediate family, not the cousins. The day always begins with a wake up call at 8.30am, followed by breakfast .. lunch .. tea .. dinner .. supper. We're constantly looking forward to each meal. Charrr Koaayyy Teowww ... I can't remember the last time I was this addicted to it. Coz I don't. I never really liked it. Coz CKT in JB sucks, even BigOne was surprised how much I was talking and yearning for it. Any given time, if there was a stall selling CKT .. we would order it. I can say that 90% of the food in Penang is edible. Overrating. But true. Living up to it's name Food Heaven. Even the fried rice in RedBox was awesome. Back to JB's RedBox, and forced myself to swallow the macaroni and ham. I mean, it's such a simple dish, what are the chances are it's not edible. But this one was seriously unedible.

Subliminal Memories

For those who have read New Moon of the Twilight saga, how many of you can related to what Bella's going through?

Despite all the sappiness of not being able to move on and not wanting to forget, drifting to and fro between the two who makes her feel alive, I do feel her.

Have you ever want to forget something so bad that you wished it never existed, but yet on the other hand you're thankful that you've been given the opportunity even for that slightest moment. As time passes, each memory is still fresh and everything feels like it was just yesterday when in reality it has been years. Despite moving on to new found happiness, yet still holding on to the memories. How Bella's heart ached every time she is reminded of something related to the Cullens or Edward. The sore, the hurt, the angst, the fear. Being in a place all so familiar, hoping to see the one, hoping time would turn back to relive the moments. Wanting to know about the person, wanting to hear the name. But yet afraid that it will cause an emotional stir inside when the waves have been calmed.

I understand why she feels the emptiness, why the hurt, why the yearning.

She never had the answer, the reason of everything that has happened.

If only she knew why truly left from the beginning, perhaps she wouldn't feel as empty and as hurt.

Or maybe, one just have to be absolutely rational in looking further ahead for the consequences and chain of reactions from just one step.

If it didn't happen, it wouldn't have hurt.
But if it didn't hurt, one would never have learn.

After all these years, would you rather know the brutal truth, or prefer to stick to your own assumptions for the perfect memory?

Happy Chinese New Year !!!

Am getting all excited. But ...

It's 5.30pm and my boss just dropped off some work. Plus he pulled off the guilty conscious trick. "It's ok.. it can wait till you get back ... or you have time to do it now?"
But he has been one of the most amazing boss one can ever have, so I gladly do his bidding.
Though I'd very much love so much to head home now to spend that extra time with my baby boy before sending him off to "hell". I'm putting him up at the pet lodging for effing 6 days ! It's such hell for him due to the fact that he doesn't really like socializing with his same kind. And 6 days in a room full of his kind in various shapes and sizes. Poor baby.

I'm really rushing for time now. I hope I can blog real soon.
Getting my thoughts while multitasking at work is a bad combo.

Konon laa ... boasting I caught it in 3D. Wahahaha .. what to do, living in JB, there's many things to boast about coz we don't have many awesome things to offer here. Somehow it's like PleasantVille or something. We only have 2 malls that are worth going but could memorize the shops by heart and can navigate myself around even if I'm blind. The rest I call them "purpose malls" i.e. you don't head there unless you have to go to that specific shop e.g. buying DVDs in Holiday Plaza or Pelangi Plaza. You don't just wake up one day and go .. "Hey .. why not let's go window shop at HP or PP".

Anyways .. back to the movie. The idea of the story is kinda interesting, sync'ing with the nature and all with the braids. But it becomes a joke after. You know what arses we people are. Just have to poke fun at just about anything. :D

Went surfing around and stumbled upon the Avatar plot. Some genius joker (confused on who to cut off) did a edited summary plot of the movie ripped off Pocahontas.

Pocahontas or not .. who cares, it's just entertainment. Who really gives their two cents about who ripped off who. It's who made what outcome better that counts.

This is one movie that I don't mind buying the original DVD despite having dirt cheap pirated DVDs offered every corner of the streets in Pleasantville. Apparently word goes out that there's an deleted sex scene for the cinema version, which will be included in the DVD. To what extent this is true we'll just have to find out. But I guess it's no more than just plain sync'ing .. the whole movie's about sync'ing .. and the Na'vi chicks don't even have nipples. So don't expect that much.

Yes, that's me .. not mere coincidence. It's done with by some online web programme from the french McDonalds using my picture. Not very impressed with the cock-eyed though.

Major slowmo. So slow my brain stops working and heart beats lesser by the second.
Die standing. My mom used to love to use that word. Now it's something else.

My work desk is now infested by pesky pests. Tiny ants. Appearing very randomly, hence not being able to find the source. Because of this I've developed some kind of OCD of removing them. Poor them lil creatures are stuck to the cellulose tape before heading to the bin.

Seriously, I find ants utterly annoying. I'm my household ant exterminator. I hunt them down to the gardens and getting into the pots, soil and dirt and if it even means breaking a nail or two. Armed with my faithful Shieldtox spray .. you ants better be afraid .. be very afraid. But getting smarter by the day.

*gave up uploading picture of ants on cellulose tape .. my windows picture manager got major virus. It likes to wipe out the pictures to just plain blank/white after any editing. So you can't do anything about it later but to reupload it from your device and start all over.*

I don't feel I've much to look back on, nothing much has been achieved. Maybe there's a couple, but I feel I could do so much more.

Work is mundane as usual, looking forward to bonus and raise come January. But it looks bleak with the business slowdown and all. I need a big fat paycheck to pay off whatever remaining debts I have with the Government. Study loan. I put myself through uni. Excluding allowances of course .. I'm in effing Melaka, it's not that expensive there that I have to get a job to pay off the rents. I could have saved a whole lot from the rents for 3 years .. paying for a room by myself, but end up sleeping in it only half the time .. or less.

I feel so poor. The depreciating Ringgit or maybe appreciating Sing Dollar is really dreadful. Shopping sucks in Singapore. Kua gien only.
If I'd had someone buy me my car, paid my tuition, and not needing to contribute to household expenses I'd have a 6 figure bank account by now.

I'm bitching am I now? I sound groggy.

I still haven't figured out how to use PPS. It's gibberish .. worse than that. It's suppose to be in Chinese, what difference does it make anyways, but it's all symbols. Don't think the aliens know how to decipher the codes too. Everyone said that they watched the latest series via PPS already. I can't open three quarter of the shows there. I can't find GossipGirl S.3 .. can't open Weeds .. and no TrueBlood .. or anything else that entices me.

I need a holiday. The booked one is only due end-March. Still so loooooong away !
I'm just tired .. lacking on sleep. I think I'll fall asleep while meditating in yoga later. Need some exercise to pump up some adrenaline. Yoga IS tiring. Try supporting ur weight on both hands.

I'll have to drag my ass to set up the xmas tree tonight. Effing late. But maybe it'll brighten up the moodiness and I'll be skipping about excited about the festive season. On the other hand .. aiyoo .. gonna be damn broke lor !

The Bollywood wedding was a success.

Not only was the entrance dance a success, so was the flash mob. I was getting all worried that everyone would back out that night, but the crowd was amazing. Till today, whenever the song plays ... I Got A Feeling ... I'm sure those that take part would wanna boogie jai-ho style.

It's my first time participating in an Indian wedding, and I guess it's gonna be the one and only time ever. Such an experience with so much to dance about.

Scha's saree was rich in beads and jewels. She was like an Indian queen.

Even the prayers and procession was interesting with trumpets and tabla.

Even the stage was so colorful. Colors make me very happy :D

You have no idea how happy that makes us. And we're hoping for another time where we can put it on again.

Such a pity we don't have a picture of the four of us decked out in sarees. I hope the photographer managed to snap on during our Single Ladies dance during the speech.

Less than a week after .. another wedding.

Finally after 7+ years .. Jasmine's big day has arrived. I really salute those people who can date for like a decade before tying the knot. I don't think I'd ever be able to do that.

The earliest and most ridiculous time to get up to get ready for the door bashing. 3.30am.
It's like we get up when people just finished partying.
But it wasn't all that bad after all. The worst part was forcing myself to fall asleep at 1am. And the easiest was being concussed after the whole morning session, getting a full on 4 hour rest before the dinner.

Jasmine was stylishly gorgeous that night. Her extreme low back gown was a stunner.
Adding to the contrast, we decked out in black. Me and Geline paired up to wear an off-shoulder dress, going with 2 different styles - the subtle romantic and the rocker chic. Personality wise, we should have swapped our looks.

You can spot the outcasts from our black ensemble entourage :D

But nothing beats a wedding where we have one of the chio-est sister-entourage for the yamseng session. But lousy drinkers having to cheers only with juices and such. -__-!

The much anticipated and exciting wedding of my darling Scha is next on the list. With only 3 more days of preparation .. feels like I'm preparing for my own wedding. I just hope everything works out the way we expect it to be. It's gonna be exciting. Flamboyant colors swirling through the night with loads of bling.

New Moon's gonna be out .. this week I think. Oh my ... gonna be swooned over and over again. I don't really like that feeling. Feels like I'm cheating on my other half. Very ridiculous if the fascination is over a fictional character and not the person himself. Note: I am in love with Edward Cullen. Not Rob Pattinson. I've been restraining my temptation and yearning to start on the novel so not to be a movie spoiler. I know the book is better .. but I don't wanna know what's gonna happened next, and if it doesn't I'll go point it out "Eh .. it isn't supposed to be like that." Know what I mean?

Scofield was chubby on Season 4 so I took his brownie points and put it over on Edward. :D

My beloved sis finally found happiness .. not only it's one of the happiest days for her, but also for me. I couldn't stop telling BigOne how happy and excited I am for her.

Giselle and I go a long way back together. There will never be a day that we will ever get tired of talking about the good old, and very interesting days.

Ever since she met Alex, there has been a major change in her, for the better of course. She has been more matured and sensible, and always glowing with love, smiles and laughter. You're good for her, Alex. She loves you with all her heart, and trust me, she has been going on and on about how fortunate and proud she is t have you.

Am hooked on TV series. Because of these, I have been deprived of my sleep and building up excuses and false accusations on my quality at work, and inability to blog frequently. Yes, the blame on the home internet connection is TRUE. And one does not really have the luxury of ample time to sit down and key in one's thoughts at work.

My brain has been running on a marathon. Too much multitasking. FB is to blame. Blame again. ChuMing always said that RL is not a "job". I've been climbing levels rather well now, but yet to cross over to the next level. Newest addition is Roller Coaster Kingdom. It frustrates me that it lags so slow. Worse than Restaurant City. It's such time consuming and worthLESS of one's brain activity.

I'm actually blogging on FB games. I need a life.

Back to TV series. Latest addition to the loot. All WenDee's fault. Blame yet again. I just finished Gossip Girl and am sooooooooo looking forward to Season 3. I'm damn late laa .. I'm always bloody late. Late bloomer (really really late .. no joke), Late period cycles, Late for work, Late for appointments, Late for assignments, basically everything. I have a sickness.

When she passed me the stack of discs, she told me it's a no brainer set. Her exact words were (as accurately as possible) "You don't need a brain to watch this". But I love it. CK's gonna add on and call me a bimbo yet again - he really loves it - really loves getting on my nerves.

Was sad when I was watching the second last episode of season too. I actually rationed it for the next day instead of doing the usual daily marathon. I love Blair and Chuck more than the others. I even googled on the series and ridiculed over how Serena bagged so many awards, when Blair was the brains to everything. She's a perfect epitome of a strong woman. SMART in particularly, not usually possessed by many upper east siders (fictionally), beautiful, and classy. Nate is just a pretty boy .. nicknamed Bangs-Boy, and Chuck is awesome. Excellent business minded at 16 .. and because ... he's Chuck Bass. :D

With the day starting real early tomorrow, I can't afford another day of Gossip Girl marathon. Another teen flick which creates bad influences on the average society with the fascination of all the glitz and glamour of being one of elite members of the society. As shallow as it may sounds, but this series is kinda interesting and I just got to know that some men are closet fans as well.
I am rather impressed and fascinated with the styles carried out by the casts. And who would have thought that preppy'ness can be so sexy.

I wanna have Blair's and Serena's wardrobe ... pleasseeeeeeeeeee ....

slow mo

Somehow twittering seems to be a much more convenient option compared to blogging. Straight and direct from the convenience of your mobile phone. I feel that the old skool way has more substance than some random thoughts. BigOne still thinks it's ridiculous .. he still doesn't get the idea and purpose one has to publish their random thoughts and people commenting on it. Hell, he doesn't even do online networking.

Major hiatus from my blog. I'm sorry.

We celebrated our 2nd Anniversary.
Earlier this month. Since the appointed date clashes with Singapore's National Day, we couldn't head in for a nice meal coz so much time would be wasted traveling. But we had something much better. Sweet and simple. We both whipped up dinner - the crayfish pasta was awesome. I'd love to share pics but it's quite an unsightly couple photo with my oily face, bunned up hair and our major slack home wear.

Schnappi turns 3 !
Time flies .. my boy is finally an adult (21 human years) but still such a baby to all of us. Back then he was so tiny when I first got him.

At 2 months .. all he did was sleep.

As he grew .. he became more obnoxious. I kinda regret not neutering him though it's such a sick thought of cutting off one's balls. I don't think he will ever mate coz he doens't like dogs at all. Sometimes I wonder if he knows that he is a dog at all. He was 'courted' several times before but scooted off within seconds. If he had a speech bubble it'll be "wtf are you doing .. get lost b***h!"

Jakarta
Recent Jakarta trip for BigOne's friend's wedding. It's always an important and glamourous affair for the Indonesians and every wedding is always very memorable. At least for us where weddings in our region isn't all glitz and glamour if we're not from the super elite or of royalty.

The ballroom was filled with flowers 'street lamps' litted isle, creating an indoor garden themed wedding.

The gigantic wedding cake that was cut with a sword. I wonder if it's real.

Even the reception area was properly decorated that sets a perfect backdrop for photo taking.

I have never really seen Jakarta despite coming here twice. Both times was for work, so I saw much more of the slump areas, which didn't leave a very good first impression, though hearing so much about how amazing this place is. The society diversion is so great that it's a whole different experience when you're in the city.

Good food . Great place to party . Gorgeous women .
