A brighter day

Today I woke with the sun shining in my face ... I love it. Somehow I correlate myself with the sun and warmth by being born in June coz it's summer. ANZ is the special child in the world to be the total opposites. It's like .. hey, it's christmas, and people are not building snowmans or decked in winter wear. Weird rite =.=!

I saw the most beautiful rainbow smacked in the center of the so-called city .. meadows on the left and the motorway on the right. I have rarely seen a full rainbow .. really long .. and you could see all 7 colors very vividly. I saw staring at it like a child .. curious if there's a pot of gold at the end of it. *teehee* I reached for my faithful CyberShot in my bag, but too shy to pull it out and start snapping like there isn't any that exist from where I came from. I figured my colleague would freak out from my suaku-ness. Apparently such sightings are normal here .. she even saw a double rainbow occassionally. Yea .. one stacked on the other .. wonder if she's fcuking with me. And I was visualizing the double-decker throughout that 15 minute ride to the office like a child .. while maintaining my mature and professional attitude like a 35 year old. =.=!

Deep down I am a child stuck in this adult body (what's that medical terminology again for such "defect"?). BigOne always thinks I'm 14 .. and sometimes I don't feel that I exactly have an "adult" body. =.=!

These babies caught my eye last week in Sydney, I was so tempted to buy them off despite having a A$110 tag on it. Thank God I didn't coz it was such a rip off since Zappos is selling it for only US$59.00 plus free shipping. It's coming next month .. yippie! My love for them are so much that I even bothered Cam's friend Damien to bring it back for me eventhough I haven't even meet the guy before .. let alone know what he looks like and spoke to him before. *big grin*

Shiver me timbers!

It's so mofo cold here in Auckland it's soooooooo not funny yo !

I can't remember the last time I was this cold. I'm so regretting that I didn't get the pair of leather gloves from Sportsgirl and gorgeous leather boots which was on sale. I didn't think I would need one after this trip coz it would just mould and rot in the closets and till the next time I look for it, I could throw it away.

The day works fine for me with the warmth of the sun. But when evening falls .. damn I so wanna be back to Malaysia. I woke today and my butt just froze when I took my first leak. Damn it was 11 degrees this morning! I know many of you guys think it's lovely here with the coolness and all, but it's very frustrating for me here for me.

The thought of having to go out for dinner later tonight just scares me. The coldness was piercing through as I strolled back. Not very enjoying Auckland now !

I wonder what is fcuking wrong with this region. You have to goddamn pay for everything. There's not complimentary bottled water in hotel rooms, there's no internet connection ... you have to pay for these like $4 per bottle .. and $0.60 per minute for broadband connection within the hour. After which, a full surcharge of $33+ applies. Fcuking hell. And just nice, the network in the office here doesn't allow access to Facebook. Now I have to spend half the day to clear up requests. Sorry guys if I ignored any of your requests .. I know I should administer them on a daily basis to prevent such problems. But at this point, I just need to purge them all out.

Funny how they created the conveniences of "Ignore All" ... they forgot to put in the "Accept All". *rolls eyes*

Crap

It's Friday .. and I'm pretty much done with my work with much enthusiasm to head to the city tonight. But what a crappy it has been so far ... it's been raining since morning and I haven't had a proper meal since. I brought along the supplies that I've gotten out of Woolsworth for the entire week for breakfast since I didn't want to have the same thing every single morning from the hotel buffet. My minibar at the office has made full use of itself since we had to stay in. Gourmet beef in red wine pie for breakfast, soggy Sara Lee Apple Struddle (coz the office Microwave had limited functions to heat it up properly) .. Milk .. Breakfast Juice, so healthy you don't need to eat or drink any other juices. Breakfast Juice comprises of Apple, Orange, Banana, Pineapple, Mango and Passionfruit. Can terus laosai after this .. say bye bye to constipation. Haha .. And for snacks .. the must try Red Rock Deli potato chips .. Lime & Black Pepper. The last time I tried this was from Mario, and we always begged him to bring back more when he came back from Melb. Big heartedly .. he did .. and hand carried it all the way back. We miss you Dav ! When you wanna come serve on your mistresses again ? ;)

The camera died on me last night. So now I have to rely on my ol' trusty CyberShot to bring back the memories. Hope it doesn't die on me. It cannot afford to .. my life depends on my mobile phone! Uploading pics viz bluetooth is such a pain, so very minimal pics will be posted till I get back. Oh well ... time to finish up that boring report of mine. Crap.

Sun, Sand, Fun, Pain and Pleasure

As promised, pics from ClubMed Cherating. Nothing to scream about .. not like it's ClubMed Maldives or Japan or Middle Eastern, or a "atas" holiday like Banyan Tree just recently visited AGAIN by babe Geline. Bloody envy that woman, keep traveling !

ClubMed is such a pain and wouldn't allow non-"members" to take a peek into their secluded resort. You wanna see it .. pay an "entrance fee" of a minimum of 2 nights stay. Not a very cheap 2 nights stay price if you ask me. So here's a sneak peak of it.

People ask "Why Cherating?" It's like everyone doesn't have much confidence in Malaysian standards when it comes to international stuff. Everything overseas to us seems better .. for some reasons .. alot of reasons .. mainly some in particular. Go figure. But apparently ClubMed Cherating is the biggest in South East Asia .. I was kinda disappointed when my idea on ClubMed Bintan was turned down by others. Well at least it was within our range. Mind you. Could've chosen anywhere if the dollar wasn't an issue.

Was expecting the place to blew me away .. with the whoa's and the aahh's. But it was .. mmm .. well, ok. I set my standards kinda high coz the resort's overrated. I heard they set aside this huge sum of money (what was is? 1 billion?) to refurbish the resort. Don't think they have yet. But it's not all too bad. I repeat .. I overepected.

Loads to do .. only recommended for the adventurous. Very unsuitable for tai-tai wannabes, snow-white wannabes, dainty-no dirt-no sweat-no unladylike hopping running and climbing about-people, or any people that falls under a similar grouping. You pay the premium price .. to have FUN. Otherwise, go home and regret coz you'll rather spend the cash somewhere else.

Walk through nature ..

To uncover a hidden cove ... paradise ...

Catamaran Ride ...Kayaking (no one could take pics for me .. or even bothered to do so) ..

Play beach volleyball ..

Take loads of pics ....

I'm leaving on a jet plane

Am jet setting in an hours time. Have already jet setted 2 hours ago and keeping my dazed and wandering mind in place with the daily caffein fix. I hope this trip is not gonna be as bad as I expect it to be, with my AhKor leaving the company, I don't have someone to bully along the trip. It's business .. not pleasure .. what the hell. The only pleasure that I'll be getting is Thursday shopping night and one Saturday in Sydney. I am already thinking what to do. The currency exchange is ridiculous and I find myself issuing more cheques than my income could generate. Gotta do some finance checking when I'm back.

Weather's gonna be rather cold. Anthony suggested that I head to Bondi for some nude tanning. I feel that my nipples will be screaming everest in the cold instead. And it's not like I'm not dark already from the ClubMed trip. Loads of pics coming up. Since I'm gonna be bored after work hours I can date all the gadgets I bring there. NO .. the vibrator isn't in the list. Not like I have one anyway.

So gonna miss BigOne .. and as always, Maxis is gonna file me for bankruptcy. Perhaps I should get a part time lover who is the son of the owner of Maxis so I can have my roaming bills waived. Specifically SON of owner .. or anyone who is compatible within my age group. I don't date sleazy old men that date their daughters. I wonder how they do that? Life has its sacrifices sometimes.

JuMa took off on a month long holiday back to her home town, leaving us in a uneasy environment like a spoilt brat having to do everything herself again. It's just so weird after getting used to her 5 years of pampering. But I'll be taking off in 2 weeks time for the rest of the month so I won't get to go through the awkwardness at home .. so selfish rite? Hehe ... My biggest worry is my son .. wonder who's gonna attend to his needs. This morning alone he somehow made his way out to the garden for a rendezvouz .. wonder how long has he been running wild in his fantasy world, only to find him in his dirtiest state when I was about to leave for work, and got sent back to his room for detention. He's getting way out of hand. And I now understand the dillemma of a busy working mother having need to discipline her child. Never really works well ... especially when he doesn't really have a full set of the english vocab.

I nearly killed myself at yoga yesterday. The inconsistent and busy schedule has took time off my classes and I wasn't born or trained young to be flexible. Madness. I hope I don't ache too much today so I can hop on the mill for extra tonning up and burning all those junk I devour that last 4 days in Penang. Health aside .. I'm quite a vain pot myself .. wanna look good for my trip in 3 more days !!!

Though I did not have a chance to spend more time with you .. but I know I did spend my childhood in your loving arms during my annual castaway trips, and showering me with treats and ang-ku-kuehs. I hope that you will be happy on the other side where you are relieved of your suffering all these years.

She was beautiful, her sharp and caucasian-like feature made me questioned her roots of origins, which Mamamia insisted that our ancestors are from China. I am even more skeptical about my grandfather's roots coz he had eyes that resembles Sayuri's .. grey with blue circumference. But then again Mamamia insisted that his ancestors too were from China. Greater China bordering Khazakstan perhaps?

For the 26th year of visiting Penang ... I have never toured the island like a tourist before. It always has been an eating and party escapade. Since TaiSouCheryl was with us, making her 2nd footmark on the island after 16 years, we had a small tour .. yea .. damn small, like visiting 2 temples that were facing each other. Battle of the Thai's and Burmese.

Welcome to Little Thailand ..My mark .. The Buddha of the year of the Woof Woof.

The Sleeping Buddha ain't nothing like the one in Thailand. I don't mean to be disrespectful .. but abit disappointed laa ... The Burmese Buddha statue had more to awe about. The white marble made it more chio. And there were tiny buddha statues covering every wall up to the ceiling.
ASIA's Buddha's ... they were all different ... in height, in hairstyles, in robes .. Malaysia wasn't in sight ... apa laaa ...

Tour de temple wasn't that enjoying. about 10-15 minutes each coz Penang was burning like hell for that 4 days I was there .. 40 degrees I think. I always felt like I was like a overheated car engine ready to breakdown anytime soon. But that didn't stop me from munching my way through the daysssssss ... BigOne's heaven, he sooooo needs to come here!

What's there to do in Penang? Eat, club, and sleep during the day .. coz too hot laa. But I tak jadi club ... come on laa, I'm semi-mourning ! So no QEII pics this time .. grrrrr ~
