Heat Wave

It's so warm and humid today that I'm disoriented from the heat.

Even my internet connection is getting a heat stroke.

I got up dreading the work day again, just like every other day of the week.

It's extra dreadful today as I was so shagged out from the photoshoot session yesterday. Talk about professionalism. 4 gowns in 12 hours. Before the shoot for the first gown ended I am already dreading what's in store for the rest of the day. Everything was just slow ass mofo. I didn't even feel pretty. And just as I slapped myself awake from all the whining from within, the photographer had to make my motivation plunged faster than the stockmarket crash in 97. The partner was not helping much since he's inexperienced and worse of all, I didn't feel good about his perverse touches. It just didn't feel right at all. I've did so many shoots before and this was just wrong. Tomorrow I'm dreading session 2. God please be with me.

The only time I "enjoyed" the shoot was when I managed to persuade them to style me up the way I wanted to. Pinned up messy curls into a shorter bob like Eva Longoria's. 1950's Chicago gettup mini dress with swinging beads, minus the feathery headgear.

Kris won. How can that be?

I bet everyone's still in a state of shock and disappointment.

Bali Bali Hai

I don't know how and where does the "Hai" preceeding the Bali came about.

Been back over a week now and I still can't get over that my long awaited holiday has jez ended abruptly. Just like what InezBooBoo said .. anything lesser than 3 days does not count as a holiday. Mine was two half. The other half was spent on traveling, so that doesn't count.

Anyways, I'm already thanking my lucky stars BigOne that the trip was still on. 3 days before, we were already considering of cancelling the trip with the flu flying around everywhere, plus with the fact that 80% of Bali population consists of foreigners/tourists.

So, confined we are in our comfy lil villa. Was rather impressed with this little dream villa tucked inside somewhere rather remote of Seminyak. They always said that pictures on the internet are always deceiving but it turned out to meet what we were expecting.

Private dip pool which I label hazardous pool. Perhaps it's just me. Not recommended for breast stroke swimming if you're not petite. But best part is that the little fountain serves some good purpose and it has built in jacuzzi/bubble massage in it as well.

The living and dining/pantry area. Neat LCD tv in both with in-built MP3 for both living and bedroom, plus a DVD player where you can borrow some movies at the reception. Key word, Borrow i.e. Free. Mind you, they're of reliable brand of Samsung. Not your average China wannabe brands.
The bed was lux with lantern nettings. I now know how to fold this swan through reverse engineering. The service at this villa was excellent. Our pick up at the airport was delayed for over half and hour and we were so pissed for having to stand in outside to wait in the humid weather. I said I was gonna throw a bitch fit and make sure they compensate us by giving us all the upgrading we could ask for. But when we arrive at the villa, I just swallowed everything coz the staff was extremely apologetic and soft that it was just against morality to give him a hard time. Free WIFI, and if you don't have a laptop, they'll bring one to you for Free. Free breakfast, Free afternoon tea, Free shuttle to anywhere you wanna go and pick up back to the villa, Free DVD borrowing, Free books to read, etc. And because the area is small enough, people greet you by your name. How nice is that. The spa lady even came to me over breakfast to remind me that I have a spa appointment to fix. Although they were fully booked, we were moved to another villa temporarily to laze and mess up their bed for a bit before checking out at 3pm in time for our flight. How nice is that.

Next stop, Ku De Ta.

I must thank my beloved neighbours for insisting that I come here. No regrets.

Grilled seafood platter.

Veal tenderloin and fois gras. Brulee. 4 ways. If BigOne ate desert, it means it's definitely great. He ate it.
KuDeTa is definitely awesome. After indulging in excellent food, you can head to the bar area or just laze by the coupled cushioned deck chairs over looking the sea where the spot light is set to shine upon the silver lining of waves hitting on to the beach. With the in-house DJ playing soothing sounds of jazz and light house music, the ambiance was just perfect.

P.A.R.A.D.I.S.E. in my vocabulary.

I was looking forward to this eating frenzy trip. But we didn't have enough time to drive through Bali to scout for delicacies. Bebek & Nuri's .... I'll be back for ya next time !

Lastly .. the sweetest one that always make it happen.

Me heart you big time darling.

Paradise awaits ...

Finally .. the long awaited holiday has arrived.

After much frustration on whether to put ourselves at risk to human traffic and a holiday destination full of Caucasian travelers .. we decided to just go ahead with our plans.

Paradise awaits us ....

I hope it's gonna be much better than the pictures coz pictures on the internet are always deceiving. And I also hope the reviews are just as accurate.

Bags packed, PSP updated with games and music, itinerary set, pick-ups arranged, new VS bikini packed with VS Heidi Klum edition make up gonna set the sexiness up a notch. Minus the boobs, minus the arse, minus the legs, minus the tight abs ... I don't quite make the VS angel mark.

I'm more excited about the food that we'll be feasting on. Double whammy to the VS ghetto. We've got a lot going on down there hunz~
